PRODUCT TYPE & NAME : BUILDWRAP P 3mm – APP based polymeric membrane with non woven polyester mat as reinforcement. |

1. Removal of loose particles from all over the place & rendering the surface to make it smooth & fillets to be made on the joints of terrace & parapet wall.
2. Application of a coat of cold applied bituminous primer BUIDPRIME @ 0.3 lit/sqm.
3. Providing & laying of APP based polymeric membrane (BUILDWRAP P 3mm ) with non woven polyester mat as reinforcement on primed surface by torch on application with an overlap of 75mm at the sides and 100 mm at the ends and sealing all overlaps and joints. The membrane will be taken over the fillets for the vertical surface and the same shall be finished by taking uptil the end and thereafter continuing it in the flat surface of the parapet and finishing the same. For high parapets the membrane shall be taken to a height of min 60cms and then shall be inserted inside the parapet after a chase cutting is made. The same shall be finished by a membrane flashing. |

1. Surface preparation involving cleaning the surface to ensure a clean, smooth and dry surface.
2. Providing and laying of X.P. S ( extruded polystyrene ) sheets of 25/ 50 mm thick with 28-35 kg/m3 density by spot bonding.
3. Providing and laying 120/160gsm geotextile ( BUILDTEX )as separating layer over the insulated surface.
4. Providing and laying PCC/ screed with wire mesh 20 gauge to create the required slope ( 1 in 100).
